😃 IfWeRaise news & events
Our next public event - Why you need to design your company culture earlier than you think with Natalie Pearce of The Future Kind Collective.
5th June 2023 12:30 to 1:30PM.
”Designing company culture may sound like a premature concept when the company is just thinking about its first hires, it's first fundraise, or even it's first customers - but it’s a crucial step many founders miss.”Lots of progress to report on the platform side at IfWeRaise. Member founders and angel advisors have been working on fundraising strategies, deck reviews and using early stage product to generate revenue.
Do you know a founder who could benefit from IfWeRaise? Founders (and angel advisors) can register interest via ifweraise.com or drop us an email.

Great hustlers look like anyone and come from anywhere - Hustle Fund
This resonates pretty hard with the IfWeRaise mission. I’ve been playing closer and closer attention to Elizabeth Yin and Eric Bahn at Hustle Fund’s content. They’re an early stage US fund doing a great job of working in the open for the benefit of both founders and new fund operators.
He has a great thread on the role that privilege plays with founders and startups:
(…)
9/ By better understanding a founder’s personal journey, we should use that knowledge to tare how far along privileged/unprivileged founders should perform across an equal timeline.10/ Founders with a lot of resources will naturally report more progress than founders who have very little resources, over the same period of time. Both still could be equally great in outcome over the long term.
At IfWeRaise we’re trying to level the playing field so that founders can compete on the basis of their capability, not their access to resources.
Take care,
Tim and Hattie
